Smoovi didn’t start as an app. It began in our small Jiu-Jitsu gym, where working with neurodivergent children taught us that the little things made a big difference—visual supports, clear routines, simple prompts, and thoughtful structure. They didn’t just help some learners; they made the experience better for everyone.
What began as a better way to run our own classes became a tool we knew could help teachers, therapists, parents, coaches, and caregivers.
A simple place to build lessons, organize activities, and grow a shared library your whole team can use.
A better learning experience inspired by neurodivergent learners and built around how people learn best.

Smoovi is designed for martial arts academies, pediatric therapy clinics, yoga, fitness, and dance studios, and other youth organizations working with children ages approximately 3–12 in individual or group settings.
During our beta phase, Smoovi is free for selected partner organizations. In return, we ask that partners actively use the platform and share feedback through occasional conversations and surveys. This close collaboration helps us refine the product before its public launch.
You’ll need an iPad running Smoovi. For group classes, we recommend a TV or display to mirror the app for students. Smoovi is currently available on iOS only, with Android support planned after the beta phase.
No. Smoovi is designed to be intuitive and easy to learn, even for users with limited technical experience. Most organizations are up and running quickly. The only setup that may require a few extra minutes is connecting your iPad to a TV.
Smoovi has the greatest impact for children ages 3–9, where visual guidance and smooth transitions help keep students engaged and focused. It's also a great fit for pediatric therapy, where older children may benefit from visual supports while developing executive functioning skills. Coaches who also teach older students use Smoovi to stay on schedule, manage class flow, and cover everything they planned.
Absolutely. Organizations can create and customize their own activities to match their curriculum, teaching style, and goals. Smoovi also includes an AI-powered image generation tool to quickly create custom illustrations that make activities more engaging and easier to follow.
Smoovi started during the COVID-19 pandemic when its founder created a visual schedule app to keep remote Jiu-Jitsu students engaged. The combination of clear visual guidance, smooth transitions, and interactive quizzes created a more engaging class experience, and became the foundation of Smoovi.
